Customize your security settings ---- because the new default leaves you wide open for a breach!
Here's how - click on:
Account
Privacy Settings
Custom
Customize settings
     Now, make 2 changes:
     "Places I check in" - change this to "Only me"
     "People here now" -change to "Disable"
